SUCCESFUL OBSERVATION OF DHARNA ON 23.02.2010

On 23.02.2010 all section of employees of PS GI Companies observed Dharna at United India Insurance Co., Regional Office, Dabagardens, Vizag from morning 10am to 2.30pm.  On this occassion many faternal Trade Union leaders also addressed the Dharna Gathering.  ICEU, Vizag General Secretary Com.B. Ganesh and Com.A. Ajay Sarma, CITU, Vizag District President expressed their solidarity for the Right Cause of PS GIC employees and appreciated the Joint Struggles organised in GIC.  On this occassion Com.N. Narasingarow, Coastal Branch Secretary, GIEAIA, Sri B. Anjaneyulu, Regional General Secretary, UIIOA, Dr.G. Varaprasad, Regional President, GIOAIA, Com. N. Prakasararao, GIEA(SZ), Joint Secretary and also Com.V.N.Murthy of NFGIE also attended and stressed about the necessity of intensified strugles to be organised Jointly to secure fair wage revision without Management Agenda.  They emphasied the necessity of participation of each and every employee for the joint calls given.

DHARNA ON 23.02.2010.

All the Public Sector General Insurance Employees on 23.02.2010 observing Dharna.  Particularly at Visakhapatnam Trade Unions consisting of GIOAIA, UIIOA, NICOA, AIGIFWA, AIGI SC/ST Employees Parishad(Jayamurthy), AI GI SC/ST Employees Association, GIEAIA and VRGIEA formed Joint Action Committee formed on 18.02.2010 to carry out the calls given by the Central Commitee pertaining to their long pending Wage Revision which GIPSA wanted to implemented with Management Agenda.  The same was in toto rejected by all the Check-off qualified associations at their 5th Round of Talks held on 22.12.2009.  In addition to the above, GIPSA wrote a lette to all the associations on 05.02.2010 which reveals the reluctant attitude of GIPSA Management.  To show their resentment and to restore immediate wage talks all associations jointly organising Dharna on 23.02.2010.
